Collection of books used for reading or study, or the building or room in which such a collection is kept.

RULES AND REGULATIONS OF LIBRARY

Students are strictly instructed to register their names before entering the Library, mentioning the ‘time in’ & ‘time out’ is compulsory.

Silence is utmost requirement of Library, please maintain it.

The Library will be kept open on all working days between 10.00 am to 05.00pm.

No body will be allowed to take any belongings (Bags, Jackets, and own Books, etc) except sheets of paper or pocket note book into the reference section.

One Books in the closed cupboards are issued on production of Identity Cards. After reading, books should be returned immediately and identity card is to be collected promptly.

Books will be issued for the period of 15 days on Borrower’s card.

Latest editions of Books and Periodicals will not be issued for lending.

Books and Journals are not issued on the slips, chits or on phone calls.

Absolute silence must be maintained in the reading room, any attempt by any reader to disturb or distract the attention of other readers is strictly prohibited.

No readers will indulge in doing anything including marking on books, tearing of pages and any other act which is likely to damage the Library property or is likely to interfere with the smooth working of Library and its decorum.

Double the cost of Book/Journal etc will be recovered from students who have involved in mutilation/tearing of pages and missing it etc.

Membership cards are issued for individual use and are NOT TRANSFERABLE to any other person. Students are NOT PERMITTED to use ID card of the other students.

Books are to be returned on or before the due date otherwise fine will be levied.
